Late night Pizza

On Wednesdays, there is a  great street market held in Place Chatelain, just off Rue de Bailli. The atmosphere is something truly unique in Brussels as when the fish, vegetable and cheese stands are closing, it just gets more and more crowded as people fill the wine stands, bars and restaurants that surround this small square.

The market was closing when we arrived, but there were still some beautiful tulips.

...and people making last minute deals

NB! If you come by car, it is practically impossible to find a parking space. And if you decide to park in front of a garage, you might end up getting an emergency call and finishing your glass of wine on the road.

We moved on to Place Flagey, where finding a parking space was more realistic.

Mamma Roma

An was ordering, while I was keeping the table.

Oh my! This is not good for the diet, but OH SO GOOD!

It really is wonderful to catch up with a good friend you haven't met for a while.
