Hello and sorry for the silence (I’ve been sneezing and coughing for the past three days). But now as the year is about to turn many of us probably have a list of New Year’s resolutions for 2013. I’ve never really made New Year’s resolutions, but I decided to do so for this year. I’m trying to keep it realistic and not to buy a yearly gym membership (I know I would give up by February) or commit to a strict diet, but I’m trying to challenge myself by making resolutions that will remind me of some important values throughout the year. And to celebrate the New Year with all of you, I’m asking you to share your New Year’s resolutions here and take part in a little competition where you can win this beautiful and inspirational Mind Body & Spirit Book of Days for 2013.
To enter, simply leave a comment to this post with your New Year’s Resolution and remember to leave a working email address with your comment. All comments sent by 24:00 on Friday 04.01. will enter the competition and I’ll announce the lucky winner on Saturday the 5th.
The Mind Body & Soul agenda for 2013 is a generously sized, beautifully illustrated diary with many inspirational ideas and invitations for self-empowerment. “The theme for 2013 is Living from the Heart. Every event, every encounter, every day is an open invitation to savour life.”
And here are my New Year’s Resolutions:
1. Be more Present.
2. Respect my body by listening to it, paying attention to what I eat and exercising regularly.
3. Non-judgement. Work on accepting myself and others.
4. Write more letters.
5. Visit one country where I haven’t been before
6. Smile and make at least one person smile every day.
So, what about You?
