in the wind

It’s Sunday. It’s raining outside. The house is quiet. So I’m walking around in my woolen socks, making myself a cup of tea and not worrying about a thing. I avoid making any To Do -lists for the day and blocking any thoughts about the upcoming working week from my mind. I allow myself simply to be (and to eat some candy). Samuji Autumn-Winter 2013

There are still warm days and bright nights ahead, but no better way to get into the Autumn mood than a dance with Finnish Samuji, who has found yet another sensual, nostalgic and poetic way to present it’s new A/W 2013 collection. Enjoy! Video from Samuji at Vimeo.

a little garden

I’ve been dreaming of a little garden of my own for a long time, but this summer went so fast and I was occupied by moving house and job and travelling that I didn’t get a chance to sow anything. So today I decided to do something about it, even if only on a very small scale. I took an old wooden box with a gap in the bottom, some old cloth and a layer of pebbles then some soil As the summer is already turning to autumn, I got some bio herbs from the supermarket, so easy! Basil and Thyme went in first Followed by Mint, Chives and Rosemary Next year, I’ll be on time, with tomatoes and all and be a real urban gardener.
