Happy Weekend Everyone! I’m doing some renovations at 3Rooms + Kitchen, so sorry in advance for any disturbance; Plaster dust, noise, and I can’t seem to hang the paintings right with this new theme. But we’ll get there and hopefully the newly renovated & decorated blog will look better than ever, fingers crossed 🙂
After the heavy reds and dark greens of Christmas I wanted to get a boost of lightness and romance to embrace the winter light of early January. Un Lien Sans Egal on Chaussee de Waterloo had exactly what I was looking for and I’m sure I will return to this beautiful store again.
All the flower shops are full of beautiful hyacinth buds and I got a few in my kitchen too. Now I just can’t wait for them to open up.
When I grabbed this bunch of roses on my way home I didn’t realize how big it was. So 15 minutes later I found myself looking for extra vases from our glass recycling bag.
I couldn’t resist getting something orange into the house for Halloween.
If I could wear this colour like a perfume, I would.

On a walk through the small Parc Ten Bosch in Ixelles you can admire the beautiful autumn colours and fruits of the most peculiar plants. When the October sun is still warm, sit on one of the wooden benches with a good book or just observe the season around you.
As I’m recovering from an autumn cold and spending most of my time on the sofa wrapped in blankets, I decided to get some flowers to cheer me up. I’m so used to having flowers at home, that the place seemed empty and cold without. Now we’re back on track.
