inspiration, etcetera, etc.

I can’t remember the last time I came across a book as inspiring as Etcetera etc. by Sibella Court.  For two days now my eyes have been glued into it’s scrapbook-like pages full of beautiful and inspiring interior ideas.

Objects found in nature, local thrift stores or artisan’s markets together with items you’ve inherited or made with your own hands all become a part of the color palette of your home. According to Court ” You’ll end up with a home that’s distinctly and beautifully yours and not just a replica of homeware catalogues or generic furniture stores.”

Etcetera etc. is candy to the eye, full of beautiful ideas that will inspire you to recycle, collect and create. It is personal, sensual and harmonious and it offers the best tips of a professional stylist to help you create that living space that truly reflects who you are.

  1. I couldn’t agree more…..this book moved me. I have a daughter who collects ‘junk’ and this book made me realize that it’s not rubbish to her….it’s important…and can be arranged/displayed in a way that makes us both happy.
